November Gratitude

The Hug Box Shop window

First I want to say how very grateful I am to all of you who have supported this small gifting business. Being at the Hug Box shop everyday fills me with joy - seeing friends in the community and connecting with customers, sending hugs, partnering with local artisans and nonprofits and thinking of new creative ways to bring smiles. The Hug Box gift boxes and the shop are getting in new holiday goodies and gifts! My lovely artisan friends are creating some beautiful ornaments, jewelry, pottery, art and more for the holiday season.

Be sure to stop by 2C Jackson St (new location) or checkout our newly curated Hug Box gift boxes online and the new products for Build a Hug Box.

And in case you haven't been to the new space here is a glimpse!

    ON A PERSONAL NOTE
During my morning meditation and while walking my sweet furr babies, I was softly reminded how truly the smallest blessings are the best gifts from God. It's not about what we most likely consider blessings, the big ones like fancy clothes or cars, the worldly vacations, or being able to hire someone to work at the gift shop. It is the fact that first God always will love me, that I can walk my dogs, breath fresh air, feel the sunlight on my face and then go back into my home, fix a nutritious breakfast, clean up the kitchen, make the bed or put a load of laundry in the wash machine. If every day, especially in the moments when frustration hits because I had no sales, my car breaks down, I have to make a trip to the grocery store and I have to do more laundry when I get home, I am reminded that blessings come in many shapes, sizes and forms and they are given daily. Feeling grateful every day is in itself a blessing. So enjoy your many blessings. Love and hugs, Vicki
