Transitioning into fall. A change of season means a change of doing. School is in. The temperature is slighty cooling... making headway into pumpkin pumpkin and more pumpkin, and fun fall activities. JuJu is a Maltese/Poodle mix (Standard) who is 5 years and 7 months old. He is neutered and current on vaccines. JuJu loves his walks! He is a busy fella… always on the go! Not a lap dog… he enjoys people but is “on the go!” Probably not a good fit for small children. Teens and up. Rides well in the car and is relearning his manners at the groomer. LABOR DAY SIDEWALK SALE, Friday Sept 1 - ALL DAY
The Labor Day Sidewalk Sale is an annual tradition! This is an all-day shopping event that starts on the Friday before Labor Day. During the Labor Day Sidewalk Sale, visitors are invited to walk the downtown streets and shop the best deals of the year. The Hug Box will have the best SALE ever to date, so come shop with us and support all kinds of local!
MARKET DAY, Saturday Sept 2 - 10-2pm
The Monthly Market Day is hosted by Main Street Newnan on the first Saturday of every month from March-December, around the courthouse square in downtown Newnan, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The market showcases a variety of handmade, homemade, and homegrown products created by local artisans, artists, and farmers. It features over 50 unique booths with new vendors and one-of-a-kind items each month. And don't forget you can find even more local artisan goods and gifts, everyday. at the Hug Box shop.
FALL ART WALK, Friday Sept 22, 5-9pm
The Art Walk Event is a celebration of local art, and is hosted twice a year in downtown Newnan! During the Art Walk, businesses extend their hours to host store-front exhibits and demonstrations curated by a variety of Newnan’s finest artists. Visitors can expect to stroll through over 30 locations and see the work of at least 40 artists, and you will find a wide variety of art styles and mediums, including: oil on canvas, engraving, pottery, photography, jewelry-making, fiber arts, performing arts and acrylics. The downtown streets and sidewalks are sure to be filled with unexpected talent and delightful entertainment! There is no fee for admission to this event. The Hug Box will be showcasing a few artists so be sure to visit us! As well as checkout all of our other artisans!
FIDO FEST & 5K, Saturday, Sept 23, 8-1pm
Fido Fest 2023, benefiting Hearts ‘n Homes Rescue of Coweta County!
The day starts with a 1-mile fun run for families, kids + pups, with our timed 5K following. After racing, guests can enjoy more paw-some things for the whole family – like live entertainment, pet vendors, a doggo splash zone, and lots of activities for the kiddos!
Hearts ‘n Homes will also have dogs on site that are in need of furever homes. For more info on this race event CLICK HERE
All proceeds of this race event will go to Hearts ‘n Homes Rescue. Hearts ‘n Homes Rescue is an all-volunteer 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to finding rescue, fosters, or adopters for the dogs and puppies most at risk for euthanasia in Coweta County. All donations are tax deductible.
