IMPORTANT NOTE: Lately, we have received calls and messages from people who have been receiving random 'hug' boxes from unknown sources. They google 'Hug Box' or something similar and since we pop up on the first page, they contact us about their gift. Their gift boxes usually have no business logo or contact information or a personalized card to know who sent them the gift, and also contain products that are poor and damaged quality and not professionally packaged with ingredients listed. While we have tried to help these gift receivers, who I know probably did need a 'hug', it has consumed a lot of our time with replies and trying to assist them. It really breaks our heart actually that we can't find answers for them. For those of you that are unsure about a 'hug' gift you received, please see the list below about our Hug Box™ brand before contacting us.

• First, our the Hug Box™ brand logo will appear on the mailer box, the Hug Box gift tag, missions card, and notecard.
• Second,
we DO NOT SELL ON AMAZON OR ETSY, so if you receive your gift box in a mailer other than one with our logo, it did not come from us.
• Third, we ALWAYS include a personalized notecard with the recipient's name, a message and who the Hug Box is from.
• Fourth,
we do not fill our Hug Boxes with anything but quality, professional local artisan products that are packaged properly and have lists of ingredients where applicable. And each product and it's maker are listed on the notecard, so that you have all the information you need on each product.
• Fifth, we understand that there has been in influx of gift boxes in the last 3 years that say 'Box of Hugs', 'Hugs in a Box', 'Hug Box', etc. but those are not business names (otherwise they would infringing on our trademark). They are only using those phrases to describe the gift box.

IN-STORE PICK UP  If you are local and would like to pick up your Hug Box, please be sure to contact us to reserve your Hug Box and to schedule the day and time to pay and pick up at the shop. 

LOCAL DELIVERY  We also offer local delivery to Newnan, GA | Palmetto, GA | Chattahoochee Hills, GA | Serenbe. Choose at checkout (DO NOT USE YOUR LOCAL ADDRESS AT CHECKOUT IF YOUR HUG BOX IS MEANT TO BE SENT OUTSIDE OF DELIVERY AREA - CHOOSE SHIPPING). Please leave a local number for delivery location confirmation. Please contact us if you place your order after noon, as fulfillment and delivery may be the next day.

Tips for when ordering a Hug Box online:

Online orders are fulfilled within 1-2 days and will be dropped off to ship Monday - Saturday. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday due to USPS and UPS hours.  

MESSAGE FOR NOTECARD.  Please be sure to look for the message box on the 'add to cart' page. If you plan to pay using a third party (Amazon, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, Shop Pay) be advised that once you leave our site, there will be no message box option to write a message for the notecard, so please email the recipient's name, your message and who it from with your order # to hello@thehugbox.com. If you are hand delivering your Hug Box, please make a note of it in the message box or by email. We will add the recipient's name (please provide) and leave the notecard blank and outside of the Hug Box for you to handwrite your message.

SHIPPING.  We want your Hug Box to be sent in the mail in a timely manner, so contact us if you have any questions about deadline dates. Keep in mind we are located in Georgia, so shipping to further states will add to delivery estimates. We do not offer overnight, 1-2 day guaranteed delivery. These shipping options would be approximately 3 times the amount of our USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground shipping options. We would love to completely manage your Hug Box delivery, but once we drop your Hug Box off to be shipped, we can not guarantee a specific delivery time. USPS and UPS will estimate a delivery time when you place your order. You will receive an email with a tracking number and may follow its route for safe landing. If you do happen to have an issue, please notify us and we will be happy to assist in resolving it. If you order a Hug Box for local delivery in the Newnan, Georgia area, we can deliver same day if ordered before 12 noon EST.

SHIPPING /BILLING ADDRESS.  With third party payment (Amazon, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, Shop Pay), your name and billing address will not appear on your order with us. We will not have your name or any contact information unless you provide it. IF you do not submit your contact information, PLEASE BE SURE TO AT LEAST PROVIDE US WITH YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER IN CASE WE NEED TO GET IN TOUCH WITH YOU ABOUT YOUR ORDER. 

Please double check your shipping address when placing your order and let us know if it needs to be changed as soon as possible. Our goal is to get your Hug Box fulfilled and shipped off the day you place your order (orders placed by 12pm EST), and definitely by the next day.
