July 7 - World Chocolate Day. We love our local artisan chocolate. XOCOLATL has been with the Hug Box since 2015. They are located in Krog Street in Atlanta, Georgia and have chocolate tours. Their small batch chocolate is available at the Hug Box shop and in some of our Hug Boxes like Beary Sweet Hug Box (chocolate added to Hug Boxes and Build a Hug Box from Sept-May for shipping). And did you know dark chocolate has health benefits like helping prevent heart disease, boosting your mood, weight loss, fighting free radicals and it's a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth in a healthy way. Saturday, July 30 - International Friendship Day, so bring a friend to the Hug Box shop that has never been. We would love to meet them! Or it's a perfect time to send a friend a hug, especially if you don't get to see them often, to let them know how dear they are to you! Here is a great Hug Box to send them.

Sunday, July 31, 12pm - 4pm. The Hug Box Special Hours - Being a small business, and for many small business reasons, the shop isn't open 7 days a week, and from morning to evening. Although we'd like to be able to do this, we are working on being open more often and longer. In the meantime, we may have special days/hours that we will open outside of the regular hours and times, so be sure to follow us on social media and keep reading emails from us with those announcements. For this July special hours day, we are inviting you to pop in and say hi!, meet any visiting artisans, enjoy some refreshments and a giveaway! So mark it on your calendar, if Sundays are a good day for you to get to the Hug Box. If it's a busy day, we may keep the last day in Sunday as a permanent open day.
